Hellerwork-

is a modification of Rolfing, since Joseph Heller trained for 6 years with Ida Rolf.  In addition to the connective tissue manipulation and massage, Heller added movement education and verbal dialogue.   The movement education is focused on educating about sitting, standing, and walking.  The verbal dialogue is designed to teach awareness of interrelationships of the body, emotions, and attitudes.  Hellerwork consists of eleven $100 sessions .  Aetna insurance considers this to be experimental and is not a covered benefit.  Painbytes is neutral on recommendations with the movement therapies showing modest benefit, massage showing modest benefit, countered by the high out of pocket cost of this therapy
