Glyconutrients-

a controversial treatment to improve memory and increase anti-oxidant levels.  Glyconutrients are effectively one of the 8 essential sugars used by the cells in the human body.  Unsubstantiated claims by Mannatech, one of the largest manufacturers of glyconutrients caused several lawsuits by both the state and federal authorities resulting in settlements by the company and huge losses year by year.  The multilevel marketing of the company and false claims of medical treatment claims by their sales staff has severely crippled the company in addition to many expert scientists that believe the only effect of glyconutrients is the development of flatulence.  Painbytes assessment:  2 thumbs down.  Shady marketing practice with very little scientific support.
